Heavy maintenance works are in progress on the IA category state road no.1 (motorway E-75), on the section from the interchange Paraćin to the interchange Ražanj.
The works are carried out as part of the project Road Rehabilitation and Safety Project, in the total length of 24.8 km.
The construction works consist of preliminary works, works on the substructure and the superstructure, works on bridges and culverts, improvement of the drainage system, etc.
Apart from the construction works, replacement of the protection system has been planned on the median strip and on the left side of the carriageway, as well as replacement of the protective wire fence in the entire length on the left side of the carriageway and replacement of the traffic signage in the left lane.
Considering that the works are carried out along with the traffic flow, particular attention has been paid to the preservation of safe conditions for both traffic and works in progress.
At the moment, there are works on sections 1 and 5 in the total length of 7.84 km.
Works on sections 1 and 5 are planned to be completed by the end of May 2022, in accordance with the weather and other conditions.
