Department for Labor and Staff Affairs

The Department for Labor and Staff Affairs takes care of implementation of legislation related to work and labor relations, participates in preparation of suggestions and opinions associated with employees` rights and liabilities from labor relation, works on drafting of necessary legal enactments on rights and liabilities of employees based on work from labor relations, employment and insurance field and from health, pension and disability insurance field. It independently carries out procedure related to breach of work obligations and it monitors the terms of limitation. Subsequent to admission of notice on committed breach of work the following activities are being carried out within the Department: drafting of warning and decision on temporary suspension of an employee from work, obtaining of statements and other necessary data for drafting of warning when necessary, designing of measures for improvement of work organization and performance of work in the Public Enterprise, as well as drawing up vocational training plans and programs in the Public Enterprise.
