Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Momirović, in the presence of the Assistant Director of the Sector for Toll Collection, Darko Savić, the Head of the Department for Public Relations, Ljerka Ibrović, the Head of the Sector’s Department for Joint Affairs, Nikolina Arbutina, and the Chief Deputy of the Division Belgrade-Subotica, Dario Vranešević, visited the works on the toll collection “Stara Pazova“ widening today.
So far, as part of the planned reconstruction, the traffic areas have been widened, booths and toll collection equipment have been installed on three new islands, i.e., two traffic lanes, and the plan is to increase the number of traffic lanes from the former 9 to 17.
The modernization and the widening of this toll station increase the capacity and provide uninterrupted traffic flow during the busiest seasons of the year, while more efficient and rational functionality of the toll collection system has also been achieved.
