PE Roads of Serbia appeals to all traffic participants to be especially cautious when driving and adapt their speed to the road conditions since the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia warns that the intensity of precipitations will increase in the following 12 hours in western Serbia and Belgrade, and additional 5 to 15 mm of rain, and in central, southern and eastern Serbia 15 to 30 mm, and locally even more.
According to this warning, rain in the mountains may turn into snow. In the mountainous regions of southwestern Serbia, in the second part of the night and morning hours, local formations of snow cover of 5 to 15 cm may be expected.
Drivers are advised to drive carefully, obey speed limits and adapt their speed to the road conditions.
