Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Momirović, visited Zaječar on 27th February, on which occasion he held a meeting with the Acting Director of the PE "Roads of Serbia", Zoran Drobnjak, and the Mayor of Zaječar, Boško Ničić.
Rehabilitation of roads in 42 villages on the territory of the City of Zaječar and the communal infrastructure in the city as well were discussed at the meeting.
Momirović visited the works in the streets Ulica Ivana Milutinovića and Vojnička ulica, which are being reconstructed.
"The City of Zaječar received one and a half billion worth of direct help. "Roads of Serbia" has allotted 220 million dinars for these four local roads, registered as republic ones. Only the joint work of the local administration and the Government of Serbia can raise the standard in the entire country, and Zaječar is no exception", the Minister said.
"Together with the director Drobnjak, we have made maximum efforts to commence the works very quickly and start all the machines. You can see the extent of the works, started ten or so days ago, and how much we work, together as a team, led by the President of the Republic, so that the entire country can move forward", Momirović has stressed.
