President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in the presence of the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Momirović, the ambassador of the PR China, Chen Bo, the Acting Director of the PE “Roads of Serbia”, Zoran Drobnjak, the city officials and the contractors’ representatives, opened today Sector 4 of the Belgrade Bypass, from the bridge over the Sava at Ostružnica to the interchanges Orlovača and Petlovo Brdo, and announced that the whole bypass to Bubanj potok, where works are in progress now, would be completed in just over a year.
The President said citizens would have great benefits from the bypass and announced the construction of the extension of the Belgrade bypass to Pančevo, via Leštani and Vinča, with a new bridge on the Danube.
The ambassador of the PR China in Serbia, Chen Bo, has stressed that she is pleased to attend the opening of the Sector 4 because this bypass is one of the most significant infrastructure projects in our country.
The Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Momirović, said today that the Belgrade Bypass was very important because of the huge traffic flow going this way.
