Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Mr. Tomislav Momirović, visited today, June 25th 2021, workers executing the works on construction of section of the motorway E-763 Novi Beograd - Surčin.
Minister Momirović stated during the visit that major projects need to be completed, but also that people are priority, and he appealed to employers to protect workers in case of excessive heat and provide all conditions necessary for safe working activities.
„We have provided water and frequent rotations so that people could rest in shade. The machines are generally equipped with air conditioners, but workers using those without air conditioners are taking a break during working hours", said the Chief Responsible Engineer on this section, Mr. Nemanja Mutić.
The section of motorway from Novi Beograd to Surčin is 7.9 km long, and is the shortest link between the City of Belgrade and the Motorway E-763 (“Miloš Veliki”).
