Works on one of the most important infrastructure projects, the construction of the section Iverak – Lajkovac, are in full swing, they are executed every day and in accordance with the contracted time schedule.
The road in the length of 18.3 km will connect Valjevo with the motorway Miloš Veliki (Е-763).
The chainage begins from the I B category state road no. 27 (Loznica-Valjevo-Lazarevac), from the settlement Iverak, continues via the newly-designed roundabout and the interchange “Divci“ and ends on the slip road entering the existing interchange “Lajkovac“,which is a part of the motorway E-763.
A greater part of the roadway, approximately 52%, is located in the flood zone of the river Kolubara.
The total of 26 bridges and culverts has been foreseen for construction. Three large bridges will be built over the river Kolubara. The first bridge will be approximately 1,085, the second around 900 and the third one around 580 metres long.
The expressway Iverak-Lajkovac is a part of the I B category state road no. 27, Loznica – Valjevo – Lazarevac and represents a transverse link in the road network of Serbia. This road will connect parts of the Republic of Srpska, i.e. Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the motorway “Miloš Veliki“ and the Corridor 10.
