We are appealing to traffic participants to be particularly cautious when driving and to adapt their speed to the road conditions since, according to the warning issued by the Republic Hydrometeorological Service, today, 11th January, 2021, snowfall is expected in the territory of Serbia.
By the end of the day it will be cloudy and more snow will fall, further increasing the height of snow cover. In mountainous regions, in the southwest and east, 20 cm of new snowfall is expected, whereas in other areas it will be from 5 to 10cm.
In the southern Serbia, rain will fall along with snow, and it will locally freez on the ground.
Drivers are advised to obey speed limits and to drive carefully, as well as to use winter tires, and to adapt their speed to winter road conditions.
