Works on the segment of the motorway Е-763 from New Belgrade to Surčin, in the length of 7.9 km are carried out in accordance with the planned time schedule.
The state road, section New Belgrade – Surčin, is located on the left bank of the river Sava, and is designed for the calculated speed of 80 km/h, with mild longitudinal slopes, and, once complete, will represent the shortest link between the city of Belgrade and the motorway Е-763 (“Miloš Veliki”).
The transverse profile of the state road is in the width from 30.70 m tо 38.20 m. Its design foresees two carriageway lanes, each with three traffic lanes, a median strip, shoulders on both sides, roadside landscaping, footpaths and two-way cycling lanes in one part. In order to connect traffic with the newly-designed roads, beside the roundabout at the beginning of the roadway, three more intersections and a partial cloverleaf interchange have been planned, with a road leading to the settlement Surčin and the river Sava bank.
Three bridges and three overpasses will be constructed for the thoroughfare of watercourses and local roads.
