PE "Roads of Serbia" because of announcements in certain media that - "...the overpass over the railway line in Mladenovac has cracked..." for the sake of accurate and truthful informing of the public is annuncing the following:
The bridge over the railway line in Mladenovac on state road II A category road number 147 has not been cracked and the load capacity of the bridge is not threatened in any way and the ovarpass is completely safe for traffic.
Supervisory body of PE "Roads of Serbia", yesterday, on November 15th, 2024 has visited the bridge and found that the damage was in the area of the gap between the two dilation units and that it extends from the asphalt to the pillar.
Bearing in mind the recent rehabilitation of the bridge, it is a dilation that showed its movements on the asphalt and the footpath, and is not a crack in the bridge.
PE "Roads of Serbia" informs the public that on November 18 and 19, 2024. (Monday/Tuesday) the responsible contractor is going to carry out the works on the installation of asphalt expansion joints.
