Acting Director of the Public Enterprise "Roads of Serbia", Zoran Drobnjak continues with regular visits to the construction works on the Pakovraće - Požega highway section. The focus of this visit was on the Munjino Brdo tunnel, where the asphalting of the right tunnel tube is underway.
"When you know how to do your job, then it will be done properly. We respect technology, we respect procedures and of course we finish the job", emphasized Drobnjak.
During the tour of the construction site, he also emphasized that the plan is to also build sections from Požega to Zlakusa, 14.5 km long, and another 14.5 km to Mačkat.
The first layer of BNS is currently being laid in the Munjino Brdo tunnel, with regular bitumen in a length of 800 m, which will cover the right tunnel tube with the first layer. In the coming days, the second layer of BNS will be laid until the end of the tunnel, which will complete the asphalting of the right tunnel tube.
All material (asphalt, asphalt mixtures, bitumen...) is tested and quality checked in laboratories that operate 24 hours a day before installation.
After the asphalting, work will be carried out on the installation of very sensitive telecommunications and automatic control equipment, which requires conditions free of dust, noise, etc.
